Questions for UK gas boiler fitters. Is a condenser boiler one and the same as a combi' boiler? My exsisting one is floor standing (in the garage). It heats dampen, or runs...

floor standing (in the garage). It heats dampen, or runs the heating too. Not sure what that type is call, have a hot hose tank/airing cupboard.
What should I changed to? Don't want to change radiators, hold 8, various sizes.
Not sure how ripened my boiler is. Want smaller but economical one. Maybe wall hanging type. Any push for please, including cost of supply and fit? Thank you.
A condensing boiler is a large efficiency boiler and these are the merely boilers now allowed to be fitted (unless nearby are very unusual circumstances).

Condensing boilers can be wall hung or floor standing.

A condensing 'combination' boiler will verbs the need for a seperate hot sea cylinder and storage cistern in the loft.
A condensing 'system boiler can be adapted to your present heat system as can a condensing 'open vent or heat only' boiler.
You call for to speak to a plumber to advise you which is best for your circumstances.

Please, please give somebody a lift my advise and fit a Vaillant condensing boiler. This businesswoman is by far the best on the market and believe me, in that is a lot of rubbish out near!

Visit the Vaillant web site and contact them to ask for recommended installers surrounded by your area.

Vaillant are for a while more expensive than others but the engineering is superb and as with adjectives things in go - you get what you settle for!
A condensation boiler is a combi boiler, but not all combi boilers are condensation boilers.

If you replace your boiler, you catch a condensation boiler. It's likely to be wall baggy unless you have a huge house. You don't own a hot water cylinder. The boiler heat the hot water directly - and that's where on earth the problems start.

You need to site the boiler believably near the kitchen sink and tub or you'll waste closely of heat getting the river there from the boiler. A condensation boiler surrounded by the garage is not usually ideal. If your airing cupboard is against an outside wall, you could enjoy the boiler in in that, where the cylinder used to be.
Answers:    A condensing boiler is one that recondenses the water vapur contained by the flue gasses to extract the latent warmth of vaporisation which would otherwise be wasted to atmosphere. They are also set as High Efficiency boilers. A combi boiler is a boiler that does away with the inevitability for a hot water cylinder or storage cistern in the loft by heat water instantaneously in it as it flows through from the mains. A non combi boiler is one to be exact just a boil source used to heat external cylinder and radiators. Both combis and non combis can be made contained by high success condensing versions, and indeed by ruling with completely few exceptions you will need to fit the soaring efficiency copy.

Cost depends on a lot of factor but you will need your rads and pipe-work cleaned prior to fitting of tentative boiler as the high value heat exchangers are weakly effected by scramble and sludge.
No you can have a combi or conventional boiler as a condensing boiler. A condensing boiler is newly a more efficient interpretation of previous units.
