I was watching somebody install fiberglass (for around 5 minutes) and left the room. My throat feel a bit scratchy and I keep coughing. It's starting to be in motion away a bit, but am I in physical danger because of this?

Answers:    Fiberglass can be hazardous if unprotected, but 5 minutes worth
will not effect intense damage. If you are going to examine I would recommend wearing proper protective equipment , this way you will not own to worry around the dangerous affects.

if near was sand, grinding or cutting, you should own put on the proper air filter over your frontage. Tiny particles can find in and irritate throat and lungs. Not sure how injurious they may be though. Always use personal protection equipment.
