Our home inspection found 3 rusted breakers that need to be repaired. The home owner is reluctant to put anymore money into the house, or discount any more off the selling price.
Is it expensive to replace the breakers?
Is it something you own to have an electrictian do, or are they correctly simple to replace?
Is it something that FHA could use against you in not providing the home loan?
those just verbs straight out if the panel cover is off. honestly, if it be my house, I would replace all the breakers and sand the busses down(only on the markedly surface) or at least check the busses for corrosion if in attendance has be water contained by the panel, but make sure the foremost disconnect is off. The busses are made of aluminum and corrode comparatively easily cause a bad nouns at the breaker and bus, generating alot of boil. Just sand it until all the oxidation is gone. it really is something an electrician should do but it's not too difficult, only look in the panel and you can see how everything fits together

Is this panel in a humid area? Like surrounded by a water pump room? What is your source of wet vapor?
Are these fuses or circuit breakers?

Answers: they are smooth to change but if you are not identifiable with this type of stuff you should call for and electrician your breakers can cost anywhere from $20 to $75 each depending on what brand breaker box you own. not sure if they can use it against you for your loan
