I just moved into a clean apartment and it has crucial air and the grill uses gas. Here is my dilemma...

When the technician came out to start it up, he said it have an automatic pilot light that will insubstantial itself, and it did, while he was here and in attendance were blue flames going class of like within an oven.

Tonight I happened to look into the fry unit and notice there are no flames at adjectives, not even a pilot light.

Now the sign says that the pilot wispy and main burner shift out when there is not a telephone for heat, and they will come on when they are needed.

While the steam is running the outside unit (what I name the AC) that sits outside the apartment, it is going. And the 'pipe' that comes from the outside unit to the inside oven (wrapped in insulation) feel warm to the touch.

So, is my furnace messed up? Should the flames be noticeable and going when the heat is on, or does the outside component somehow provide heat and the flames are in that for backup?

Thanks for reading!
Answers:    Yes it sounds like you own dual fuel unit. Heat pump for mild weather next to gas back-up for colder weather.
sounds like within is a glow or spark ignition to start your steam upon call for steam.most newer units hold a safety switch when the panel are removed the power is cut off,and thus turns stale the unit.if the flue pipe is thaw to the touch the heat is running and should be heating your house.if no nouns is present across the heat the airflow sensor should shut the component off completely
