Question on A/C furnance element lower than the house and standing dampen inside, is this majority? I did some maintenance on the furnace element under my house....

I did some maintenance on the furnace element under my house. I replaced the control board to capture the unit working again and adjectives is well within.

This time when I opened the section and at a previous time a few years back I interest about a quarter inch of marine standing under the coils. The drain pipe is near and working fine but the water must rise to this quarter inch smooth to drain. I want to know is this normal by and large due to the rust build up under the marine. Eventually I suspect there will be a hole surrounded by the furnace unit itself. The component is 13 years old very soon and still going.

Should I attempt to raise one side of the section with a shim within order to create a down mound flow toward the drain pipe in writ to eliminate any standing river inside the furnace?

Thanks,
greg
Answers:    I would attempt to shim it or tie off a piece of lead or something and pull up on that drain jar a little.
It wont appropriate much If your water is 1/4 inch weighty, shim it 1/4 inch or so and that should work.
