I have a suede couch which sides enjoy been clawed by cats. There are no tears, merely hundreds of small puncture holes that are visible and objectionable. Are there suede repair kit similiar to those leather repair kits? Re-upholstery is a second resort as the price is the same cost of purchasing a modern couch. Suggestions?
Answers:    Suede furniture is relatively rare and we find that a great deal of furniture that has be called suede is if truth be told a fabric 'lookalike' so it is worth checking out first what exactly it is. Suede furniture would be really very expensive to buy surrounded by the first place (probably lb5000 - lb7000)

If it is suede then it is extremely difficult to repair and indeed isn't a DIY job. Most DIY leather repair kit do not work and there is even smaller quantity chance of a suede one. This would be difficult to fix even for a qualified leather technician and would probably stipulation the panel replacing (this could also be tricky as matching the leather would be highly hard)

If it is a fabric the panel may be able to be replaced quite easily if you can find the cloth to match.
