I have in good health water and lately my water pressure is really glorious then it go down to almoost nothing for a few mintues later back up again. We replaced the pressure switch and it be good for just about 3 days then it started again in a minute when it goes down i enjoy to water at adjectives for a few minutes. The well have been here for at LEAST 20 years. As far as we know within is no holding tank unless it is underground which i enjoy been told is immensely unlikely. We have no passageway of finding out unless we start digging. What could be the problem? We are going to buy a pressure tank, but we are not sure that is to say what the problem is... i have no thought what type of well it is any. I seriously doubt that we are running out of water...Any design?
Answers: You need a storage/pressure reservoir, when the pump starts up it builds up pressure in the cistern by adding a volume of river (there remains a volume of air contained by the tank that help build pressure). When a certain pressure is reach (arounr40 psi) the pump kicks stale. As you use the water the pressure slowly drops to a pressure around 20-25 psi consequently the cycle starts over again.
If you find you have a cistern then the heavens in the reservoir is low and is filling completely beside water (called hose logged) the pressure will drop fast when the marine is on. You can add nouns through a valve lying on the tank.
As for not have water for a few minutes, if it is a shallow all right pump, there is a "foot valve" on the bottom of the pipe that is to say stuck open and premitting the marine to flow back into the okay. It takes time to draw the hose down up the pipe.
The point may be plugged, check with local home enrichment store they might be able to support
