This is simply to satisfy my curiosity.
The faucet within my kitchen is the closest one to the hot water boiler and it's the only one this one oddity occur on.
When I turn the hot water on within the kitchen, and let it run near my hand below it, it gradually get warmer, as it should, next there's a sudden, quick blast of cold dampen, then it's hot without hesitation afterwards. This has other happened, for going on for 20 years that I've had this house. All the other faucets basically gradually achieve warm until it's adjectives the way hot, no sudden blast of cold river. Any speculation or conjecture as to why this is happening beside my kitchen hot water faucet?
This have been an ongoing curiosity next to me, since I first bought this house 20+ years ago, never really thought to ask anyone about it until I discovered HomeABC.net!
