I just moved to an apt and installed is an strength star room A/C unit. It give two options for cooling: Cool and Energy Saver. I figure the energy shareholder would save me $$ but im worried bec it kick off when the room get cool then kick back on a few mins following. Wont that constant on-off actually cost me more? Should I a moment ago leave it on Cool at adjectives times?
Answers: Yes..I have one as capably. When its on energy shareholder mode, the fan is in reality running more then the AC. It take a lot more power to see on and run the Cooling Unit then to purely run the fan. Your best choice is to try it a month. I honestly have notice no difference.
The only difference is when it is set to "cool" the thermostat cycles the compressor on and rotten, when set to "energy saver" the thermostat cycles the compressor and admirer on and off. I other buy them with this point so the fan wont run adjectives night if the house is cool. Sometimes it get uncomfortable because of the humidity and I switch it rear legs to "cool".
