Propane or Gas Smell Where the A/C is? Long story short, I have my central nouns located in the wall...

Long story short, I have my central nouns located in the wall in my corridor. It hasnt been working corectly until last dark i found out that the air going into the attic was leak out where it had be taped, basically the little room contained by the wall where the a/c was at almost 55 degrees when the rest of the house was surrounded by the upper 70's. So anyways i fixed the hole & now the air seem to working corectly, however when the air is running i could smell a slight smell of gas or propane, it smells more like propane to me. I shut bad the system & could still smell it. I closed the door & waited about an hour & the smell be still there. However the smell wasnt anywhere else in the house. I couldnt even smell it when the door be shut to the a/c room. Is this a gas leak? Or is a small amount of gas smell normal, I don`t know i just couldnt smell it since the air be blowing in there & in a minute it isnt? I am confused. Should i be worried? What should i do?

you need to call a honourable hvac tech. you shouldn't smell anything like that. a good operating furnace should burn stale all of the combustible gases that progress through the system. get out of the house and tell the heavens conditioning company it's an emergency.
