Answers:    It sounds like suntan lotion to me and is difficult to get rid of. You may enjoy to dump the water and wash the pool. In a small pool approaching that, you can avoid using a bunch of stuff and only use Dichloro -s- triazaninetrione comonly called Dichlor for short.
