Problem next to baxi vertebrae boiler? UK? we had your heat on last darkness and the boiler was sparking...
we had your heat on last darkness and the boiler was sparking up fine for first few hours afterwards it attempted to spark up and made a lound bang which shock the fire within front of it!(fire is not connected to gas) Does anyone know why it did this, should we stop using it?
If the back boiler dies and consequently blows back similar to that, then here is a very right chance that the flue is blocked. This is extremely unsafe as the spent gasses have no escape route except into your house.
First thing to do is check the flue, second piece to do is call a corgi arrange to check the system fully.
In the mean time DO NOT use the put a bet on boiler.
YES !!!!!!!! STOP USING IT
call the gas board straight away , it might be nil to worry just about , but you do not take likelihood with gas
adjectives the best

Answers: Hi,
This can be caused by what is particular as "ignition delay" this means that a massive volume of gas is released by the main burner since being ignite by the pilot light.
Reasons for this can be cause by blocked/small pilot light and/or deflect pilot flame.
My advice is to Not Use the Boiler until you carry it properly looked at.
Good Luck

It could be something as simple as late ignition, if the pilot flame is low, the gas spout opens but the ignition is unpunctually, you will have notice it getting increasingly louder if this is the case. Turn it stale until you have a corgi registered service get to it, a service will possibly sort it out, and this is a prime example of why you should have gas appliances serviced annually. P.S. Gas board (British gas will charge more than anyone else for the service, also, they will bring up to date you the boiler is obsolete because they are no longer made within uk)
