Problem near halogen boiler (UK)? Ive just started using my small halogen radiator i havent used it...

Ive just started using my small halogen radiator i havent used it for about 8 months! When i turned it on it be working fine but then it started to smell really strong of solvents resembling paint. Has anyone else had this problem? Should i throw it away and bring a new one?

Answers:    more than probable the foil has become polluted (the foil which reflects the warmth from the rear of the light).

Buy a latest one to be safe.
