Potterton Boiler Clock? We are trying to set the clock which has a digital clock...
We are trying to set the clock which has a digital clock but switches that you slide up and down for setting the times for heat and water to come on. We enjoy re-set the time (with the time switch) but we can not now set the times for the heat and water to come on as when we renovate that the time changes too. Please assist, any ideas!!!
Answers: Make and model would lend a hand, but the time will change because it is imagined that you are setting the time, then altering the time when you reckon your are changing the settings. If you hand over a good description of the timer from disappeared to right, top to bottom, I can probably point you in the right direction. Ok, looked everywhere that I know on network, it is a myson (bought by potterton, who were bought by Baxi) none of thier sites afford a clue, I have a cd which I thought have everything on it, but not this, seems it is intensely old, anyway, it seem simple enough, slide to clock to set time, slide to on1, off1 etc and set individually, consequently move to auto, I am guessing you did this, I have see a report that stated the batteries ooze on these, there are oodles timers to replace this and I guess this is probably your best option, sorry I couldnt be more abet.
If you havent got the encyclopaedia - go to the Potterton Myson website and download the operating instructions and shift from that xx
