Does anybody tell me if near is a way to stop for a moment leak from a copper pipe besides have it sodered?
Thanks
Answers: JB Weld, any epoxy that is made for metal. You will own to shut off the dampen to that pipe, turn on a faucet to get the sea out, apply to pipe per directions, then turn dampen back on. This will be a TEMPORARY FIX!!! It will not final. You might get a month out of it MAYBE. This will basically get you by until you enjoy time to fix it properly... which is solder. One other thing, don't try and reuse the feeble fitting. Just buy a new one...a couple of bucks. If you don't know how to solder bring a class at HD or Lowe's. They have them almost every weekend they are free and you swot up a new skill. Soldering is not that easier said than done. Even if you have to buy a torch tools and replace a couple of fittings you should be able to do it for smaller number than 40.00.
