I have be noticing that the hip bath tub has be draining extremely slow lately.... have tried a plunger and also a sea jet connected to the garden hose, any other suggestions.
ALSO, My toilete have been requireing double flushes (if u know what i mean). its gross but reminents enjoy been coming spinal column after first flush. I am tied into sewer, no septic. Help is greatly appreciated.
Usually it is hair caught right at the tub drain or stuff caught surrounded by the p trap. It can be snaked with a small snake through the tub overflow. The toilet issue sounds resembling you need to adjust the marine level contained by the toilet. Make sure the water is inwardly 3/4 of an inch to the top of the overflow tube. That way the toilet is using the most marine to push everything down.
SOMETHING IS CLOGING UNDER TOILET BECAUSE THE DRAIN FROM THE TUB CONNECTS TO TOILET DRAIN. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DISCONNECT THE TOILET
TO SNAKE THE PROBLEM.
FIRST SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLY LINE,FLUSH TOILET.
UNSCREW TOILET BOLTS.LIFT OFF TOILET, IF YOU DONT HAVE A SNAKE,RENT ONE FROM A HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE & PICK UP REPLACEMENT
BOLTS & BEESWAX RING,THEY COME AS A SET FO UNDER $5.00 GOOD LUCK-P.S. AT MY OLD HOUSE
Answers: You might try running a snake down the vent that sticks through the roof. If it is blocked with leaves, etc. it will create your bathtub to drain slowly. Your double flushing is directly related surrounded by that the water cannot escape speedily enough out of the toilet past it fills hindmost up again. Your toilet is probably vented through matching vent as the tub and possibly even your sink/s. I saw this on a 'This Old House' episode and the venting be the problem.
