Last week my son put a plastic toy in the grill register (it's the electric type of heater, attached to the baseboard of every room of our apartment, not forced nouns or anything like that) and logically it started to melt. We caught it pretty at the double and got adjectives the visible plastic cleaned out, but the smell of melt plastic is still very palpable. Is there any mode to get rid of the smell or do I hold to let it "burn off"? I don't want my son sleeping surrounded by a room that is reeking of melt plastic, but it also gets too cold contained by there to confer on the heater sour. Suggestions?
Answers: take the register stale and scrub the register. also, check to make sure none of the plastic go into the vent, if so scrub it out also.
