This morning we discovered that the main pipe coming from our resourcefully was frozen. This in good health is crucial to the farm, as it not merely services our home, but also over 100 head of pregnant sheep who are days from lambing, and over 300 chickens. We get the pipe to thaw, but the very well is still not working. Is nearby something we might be missing? We tried the breaker, not the problem. Can you prime a well near an electric pump? If so, how??? Anything anyone can think of would be great to hear! Thank you for your give a hand, we are desperate to get this fixed!!!
Answers:    -if it is a submersible pump you don't hold to prime it
-if it is a jet pump you will own to prime it
-are you sure the whole stripe is thawed? nearby could be a piece of ice contained by it
-your pump if submersible is probably burned out
-last guess...go to all right and listen to hear if the pump is running when you turn on water hit...if running, there is probably rime in procession, or line might own burst being frozen
-best bet.....appointment a plumber
It could be a break in the pipe from freezing. This is a adjectives problem. Are you not getting any water at adjectives? If so, then the break could be hugely large. If the pipe is underground, it will be incredibly costly just to investigate the problem, agree to alone fix it. It it's above ground, then I would look for damp spots where wet may be leaching from a break. I freeze break is a clean cut that almost appears close to a knife slit. Its not much info, but I hope it help some. Good luck!
