Is there a opening of knowing if my pilot light is letting too much gas out? When the firsplace is rotten you can hear it across the room. I'm wondering how much gas it's burning on me and if it's dangerous at adjectives.
Answers: Don't know who makes it. There is usually a small screw on the pipe that nurture the pilot light. Turn the screw to see if the pilot get smaller. It must maintain a flame to hold on to the thermocouple hot. Go on line if you don't own the manual to see if you can adjust it and how.
