Pest Control Scotland - Whats the Procedure? We moved into a wonderful new house contained by the countryside. Sadly...

We moved into a wonderful new house contained by the countryside. Sadly we have mice surrounded by our cupboard under the sink.

We call the pest control fellow and he came and laid poison bait in that and in the attic. He said that he could not stamp up the entry point as he could not find it and anyway the mice followed the water pipes.

I still spy more poops where he laid the bait. Will this execute all the mice and whats to stop more coming surrounded by the same passageway? We left dog treats nearby and this atracted them. Once we've killed adjectives the mice via the poison bait, will removing the dog treats deter a similar episode?

Should I have expected more from the pest control guy? Seems a bit rubbish to merely come and lay traps without dismantling skirtings and looking for holes etc...

Opinions please.

ps, I love animals and find it heart-rending that I have to kil them.

1 secure cat urine (gross but needed) used cat littler works
2 place cat urine in spray bottle
3 routinely spray down the artificial area
4 plug any holes
5 for larger pests do the above and tag on a news radio the human voice is annoying and the pests will move the a more out of harm`s way home with out predators and hubbub.
this will solve the problem and not kill any mice. DO NOT READ THE ABOVE AND SAY OH I JUST BUY A CAT BECAUSE A CAT KILLS WHOLESALE. near are lots of studies proving how harm full cats are to local Eco systems.
