I have a hole surrounded by the wall made from fiberboard. A rat is coming through the hole and eating things within the home. Dont know how to fix the hole because there is no access to the hole solitary from the inside house. The size of the hole is about the size of tennis bubble. There is nothing to pin to; to put something over the hole. The hole is beween 2 studs and PVC pipes going through the hole. Any ideas nearly fixing the hole would be appreciated.

Answers:    the answer above me does a good post at explaining how to fix your hole. the rat may chew thru it again. i would stuff the hole with steel wool. rats and mice will not chew thru the steel wool.

go to home depot surrounded by the paint isle and get a patch. they are metal woven and come within 4x4 6x6 and 8x8 inches, just stick it on and spackle right over it
