Outdoor Lamp Post bizarre break open flame? Alright so, the light bulbs surrounded by the lamp post...
Alright so, the light bulbs surrounded by the lamp post be made of 2 nets made of sort of material or some heat resistance structure, at the moment they enjoy fell off from untaught occurance and there is currently 2 small flames coming out of the ends as though it be a furnace. (even though it is not, just a community storm lantern post that every house in the subdivision has) I enjoy checked the other lamps that the houses subsequent to me have and they come across to be fine. My gas company is Tico and the only other entity that uses Tico is the hot tub.
Anyways, my questions are...
Im wondering how to stop this fire from coming out of the oil lamp post?
Who should I call?
Is near any DIY way of turning this past its sell-by date?
If this occurs any longer I will enjoy a HUGE gas bill coming up so please answer this question.
10 points to whoever answers this and fixes the problem...
Answers: When I bought a house masses years ago, it had a gas flame outdoor hurricane lantern. We had a plumber disconnect it because it really run up our gas bill. I would call a plumber, and ask...if he can't do it, hail as the gas co. and tell them you want it disconnected.
sounds close to you need to replace the mantle, they are very adjectives in camp gear so try a camping store for modern ones. there should be a gas stopcock real close. is in that a small panel on the post that can be taken off to gain access to the gasline? but for theres gotta be one in the house.
