Answers:    yes... if the humidifier filter is clogged then the heavens cannot pass through. replace the filter next to a new one and audition it then.. if it still does not work cart it back to where on earth you bought it and see what they say.

There could be lots reasons, try a filter changeover, if that doesn't work, make sure its getting electricity (if its plugged contained by, or if its on a breaker make sure the breaker is working, unless your a trained electrician do not mess next to wires)
