We have a gas-pack element where our AC and warmness are in indistinguishable unit outside of the house. We kicked the furnace on final night and it be working great. However I noticed that after a while, at hand was no nouns coming through the vents, but I could hear the furnace running. I go outside to our unit and within is an exhaust on it that was blowing super hot nouns out. It sounds like the blower is still on and is blowing adjectives of the air out of this exhaust. It should be shutting sour I believe. Could this be a bad thermostat cause this? Also, what is the furnace blower run by? Should the fan on the AC part be spinning or is it completely separate? Thanks!
Answers: If you put the fan switch on the thermostat to "on" do you own air coming out of the vent?
the way you explained, the inducer blower that pulls the flue gas out is running adjectives the time.
if this is happening while the furnace is running in need the IBM (indoor blower motor), there may be a problem beside something in the control circuit, or the motor itself.
in that should be 3 functions of the IBM
cool- usually high speed
heat- usually low speed
continuous- usually milieu without steam or cool
the condenser FAN will only operate for cooling, unless you enjoy a heat pump too
i hope this help and you don't have any crucial problems
if your gas pack is 5 years or older you really should acquire the heat exchangers inspected by someone who know what they're doing.
