our house is 3 years old freshly moved in and the bathroom thump is leaking. get a plumber m8 of mine to have a rapid look for me and apparently the way the inside have perished we'd be better off replacing the tap. any easy bearing of finding out the make of the tap ( I know it isnt necessarily the same as the bath) cant see any name or marks on them and considered necessary to try and just replace the hip bath one rather than have to fork out for a seperate basin one too
Answers: Is your mate really a plumber? 3yrs isn't long for a tub tap to wear out, it should purely need latest washers. No offence intended.
unless you have an expensive duet of taps they will not be explicit ..majority of taps come from eastern Europe and our thorny water simply destroys the metal surface of these cheap tap ..and probably the new one you buy will be from like source ..stop being so tight and buy a two of a kind .keep the other for the adjectives ...your going to need it
