If anyone has tried the Oreck Orbiter on their hardwood floors, does it really work for scratch? I have a colossal dog and of course my floors are scratched from his nail. I don't want to buy this $400-500 product unless I know it really works. Anyone?

Answers:    sure it will work, but is it any better than buffer available???? a plus for this machine is that it can be used on several different floor types, which is a big plus. If you singular want to use it as a buffer, there may be something purely as good out near at a cheaper price, if you want one machine to do several types of floors, this seem like the mode to go
