I am in the process of building a house. I enjoy heard of the On Demand, instant hot wet systems. Please let me know if any of you own used them, and if you consider them to be a worthwhile investment. It will be for two people and two small dogs, no kids or extended relatives. I am hoping it is not only cost forceful but energy important.I am also curious about radiant heat. I am located in North Carolina, so I don't own the extreme temperature change of the north.
Answers: If I ever build again, I will have the On-Demand system. My hot river heater is SO far away from my kitchen that I own to waste deeply of water waiting for it to return with hot.
But I do have the tankless hot dampen heater, and it have decreased my gas bill by at most minuscule 1/3. They are more expensive than the tank-style, but you make up your difference surrounded by no time.
Even with a moment ago the two of you, I would do it. When my tank desires to be replaced, I will go beside on demand. Because you don't own the temp swing like contained by the north, I am not sure that radiant will be a great advantage, but if you want it, very soon is the time to get it.
