How do I remove the wires for a light switch surrounded by my room.

Its just a single switch but you can un screw the screw until they fall out and the wires are sill stuck within there.

I enjoy tried pressing the holes that it tells me to press beside a tooth pick and ice pick and even a fastener but nothing works.

Its really pissing me stale that something so easy have become an all hours of daylight task. This switch is on alike power breaker as my computer so I can't play games until its fixed.

I don't want to cut the wires because I did that the first time and now they are really short. I own another switch but I can't get the first one rotten I have even tried using a sledge hammer.

Please help me!
These quick connect devices require a terribly small screwdriver to release the wire. I use a set of jewelers type, and I never use them if I can avoid it. Push the driver surrounded by the slot next to the rope and pull the chain out at the same time. It is not glib to remove.

A tooth pick is not sturdy plenty for the job.
An rime pick sometimes slips off the "locking railing."
Use a blunt edge steel pick.
As you push the pick into the small round hole
(some holes are a slot shape), you will surface the
locking bar release the copper lead.
You need to push the "locking bar" firmly to procure
it to release the copper wire. (the locking pub
tends to bite into the copper.
Now, once the pressure is stale the copper wire,
you requirement to pull the cable free before you tolerate the
"locking bar" snap closed again.
Answers:    i find it easier to only just cut the wires as close to the switch as possible and restrip them out then hook up the switch
