Answers: the newer controllers will only agree to you reset 3 times. then it locks out so that you give the name a technician. the idea is that if you keep hold of resetting a unit that wont neutral off consequently each attempt sends unburned fuel onto the floor of the firebox. to reset the lockout you requirement to hold the reset button in for 30-45 second. But you should really find out whats causing the part to trip instead of reseting it all the time
