I'm painting the outside of my house. I'm using an oil-based primer on the out in the open wood.
I already bought exterior latex paint for my house before I even started drawing.
Can I use the latex exterior paint on top of the oil-based primer??
If u used the oil bottom primer (good) 4 touch up, YES, u can.
Generally speaking grease based primer or paint is too slick for latex paint to properly hang to. The latex paint could "alligator", a rippling or sagging condition. It could prevent plentifully of headaches if you placed latex paint over latex primer, or grease over oil.
You can place grease paint over latex primer however.
Answers: yes
