Not ample hot hose? I bought a 30 gal electric hot water space heater and installed...
I bought a 30 gal electric hot water space heater and installed it in Sept. It supplies hot dampen to the house besides the master bathroom. I have have guest in my house twice presently and they have complained that the hot sea does last unbelievably long at all. Once I have an empty house I woke up one morning and turned on the hot river in the guest bathroom and it stayed hot for 4 mins tops, consequently turned cold. I don't understand. I'm getting voltage to both elements, but singular one at a time. I guess it is normal for them to alternate heat duty. I have another smaller container for the master bathroom and I can get atleast 2 1/2 well brought-up 10 min showers out of it. I'm baffled. Need some suggestions.
Answers: there could be a couple of diffrent option....
1. you water electric fire could be to small for your home... standard size for a 3 bed 2 bath house is usually 40 or 50 gal.
2. possoble slab overflow on the hot water side... how to check turn everyting rotten in the house so no dampen is running , sinks ice inventor softner Ro system ect... go out to the meter and if the dial is spinning after you have a slab dribble and your running hot water into the ground.
3. you could hold a bad wet heater even it its hot it could still have problems call for the manufacture and ifits underneath warrenty they will send some out to fix it. Depending on the fabrication it will be faster and eaiser to call a plumber, you'll hold to pay for labor but the parts and or cistern will be covered under warrenty.
this happen sometimes when the inlet of the water stove is hooked up where the outlet of the hot dampen should be. also there is a long tube inside the hose heater for the inlet sea. the tube goes adjectives the way down to the bottom of the container inside. if that breaks off later you will run out of hot water also. For the heat elements i would check ohms and see if one is burned out.
