I have a norcold 1200 rv fridge out of use. We are currently living in it until our house is build. We live within a very wintery snowy place. We own jump started close to the service manual states but it just works for about 6 hours. What else can I do? There is no service family in my town for Norcold and I am not within a postion until spring to drive for service. Please only answer if you hold a way to serve me.

Answers:    Does it run on propane? If so then use it...the problem is that the fridge is using the battery for power and it wil automatically shut off whether using freestyle power or propane.
When I had duplicate problem...I rewired the fridge to it's own battery power(deep cycle) and get a small solar panel to keep it charged adequate to keep it running....logically on cloudy days it didn't work too well...but last longer than normal.
Also the RV have to be within 2 degree tilt to work.....check the level of the RV and reposition it if you own levelers.
