My friend just changed her heat from oil to gas. Now she is worried to turn on her cold water thump or flush the toilet late contained by the evening as it sounds like a bomb is going bad when she does so and her neighbours are fussy about hullabaloo. The people who fitted the gas articulate there is nought they can do about this. There be no noise from the tap or toilet before this. Can this be remedied or is it a usual element you have to contend beside if you are on mains gas supply?
Answers: Water and gas are two different and seperate systems. I do not deduce how the plumbing was artificial by the job she have done unless they affected an nouns chamber to control "water hammer". This website will explain dampen hammer. http://home.howstuffworks.com/how-to-fix...

I bring it that heating is beside hot water lines. When they shut sour the water and next turned it back on, they gone air surrounded by the lines, you need to bleed this past its sell-by date. There should be a small valve on the furnace to do this, or on one of the radiators.
