I just installed no-burst hoses on my wash machine. Now every time the gadget uses water (when the wet shuts off), it make a loud explosion noise (mostly from the cold marine pipe). Is there a route to fix this? The pipes are not exposed, they are behind a wall, with the sole purpose the tap is outside.
Answers:    you own a condition know as water tack hammer. you can fix this by turning the water down some (closing the spigot a bit). You may also have to cut the pressure in the splash with a pressure reducing spigot.(a job for a apt handyman or else a plummer)...if this be not a problem before, turning down the dampen valve should fix the problem. The racket is caused when the hose pushes against the closed valve. flawless luck
I agree with the above answer. These no burst splash have a small inside diameter so the pressure is increased and when they shut sour the reduction within pressure causes the bang. I had like problem after installing these lines and turning the water down some stopped it.
