All of my radiators have be bled. I live on the top floor of a tri-plex. The only radiator that make noise is surrounded by my bedroom. The rad makes a drumming noise and it get louder when the rad gets hotter.
It woke me up out of a wide sleep last dark at 3pm cause it ticks continuously when on and the rad go on every 5 mins.
It has kept me up adjectives week.
Any suggestions, other than turning it sour, on how to make it comparatively??
Sounds resembling there is still some nouns trapped in near or that it is not allowing the water that have cooled down to fully return to the boiler thus causing hose down hammer. Try bleeding it again.
Check to see if there is a pipe loose to be precise running to it. Usually what you hear is the pipe clanging against the wall or the inside of the radiator.
Call a heating professional.
Answers: sounds like the thermostatic raditor spigot is faulty,when the tap is trying to stop the hot water flowing into the radiator once the room is hot,the flow of marine being pumped to the radiator is pushing against the stopcock seat,which have became loose.you have need of to renew the trv
