Hi I think i own an air lock surrounded by hot water side of the system, I am getting plenty of hot river to the radiators, although have to constantly bleed them. problem is that as soon as i try to switch the dampen flow through hot water cylinder reservoir, the hot water back up and heads up the expansion cistern pipe... have I an nouns lock in the hot river side of the system, and how do i get rid of it??
oodles thnks in credit of any offers of assistance..

you should ring a pro to come take comfort of it. dont put yourself at risk ...this is not a DIY job.
dont mess around beside your boiler!!!!
do you know how dangerous they are
seriously
hail as someone out
it might be expensive but you could be putting your life at risk
Answers: Where the heating circ pipes stir into the side of the cylinder, there should be an extension to the top pipe, on the wrapping up of it should be a vent, either similar to a screw, or like a radiator vent, consent to the air out and it should boil up. If not, you may have sludge surrounded by the pipework. Another possibility is that you have a diverter stopcock (white or grey box with pipes within and out) on the pipework close to the cylinder, it may be stuck, there will be an override lever on the side of it, try moving it. If you are continually bleeding rads, your system is losing dampen, could be pumping over, this could be pump speed, sludge or bad pipework.
