No saline dampen softener? I am moving to a newly built home at the close of...

I am moving to a newly built home at the close of the month and need to bring back a water softener. I've see ads on tv for saltless wet softeners and I was wondering if someone could make clear to me if it would be in my best interest to catch one. They seem to be on the expensive side, but come across like other in the long run. If anyone know about this first appendage I would appreciate the input.

Thanks! ^_^
Answers:    hi steph! i am a retired water chemist and want you to know that an ion exchange sea softener is the only passageway. some are much better than others. fell free to ask me anything to help you kind a good choice. WATER IS LIFE! this one is the BEST
I have one but after a while the water be starting to get dirty again so I be told to put a chlorine injection into the water. This is because the medium in the softener be getting slimy and needed to be backwashed with chlorine. That worked obedient then after a while the softener go out and I was told the chlorine be corosive and caused the softener to wear prematurely. So I have to have it rebuild after 5 years and that cost about 3/4 of what I salaried for it in the first place. I go with the saline softener after it needed the 2nd rebuilt. I thought, ample of this, if it worked good lacking the repairs fine but instead it ended person an expense I could do without. I have bad experience but that doesn't scrounging there are others out within that work better. Before you buy ask a lot of question and get reference from others that are satisfied after years of use not merely recent purchasers.
