I have a 6 year out-of-date 2000sq home and was wondering the approx. cost to put within a new a/c and what element is a good designation? Our current system struggles to keep home below 75 during hot humid days, changing the filter doesn't assistance, the air is cold with the sole purpose does not blow hard ample I suppose, we I live in Northern Ky. Agree with above. Central unit normally concluding 15-20 years. I suggest getting a tune-up or maintenance telephone call. Manufacturers suggest getting one every year to clean coils,check freon level, etc. You can also bring up questions to the technician to address your issues. Air flow can be fixed.
