New above ground pool losing sea - ooze or evaporation?? 18' round pool was first filled next to water on the 3rd...

18' round pool was first filled next to water on the 3rd of July. I have be noticing about a partially inch of water loss every couple of days. I am wondering if it's normal for a different pool's level to drop like this due to the sand packing down. I don't see any moisture around the pool or filter system. It have been pretty warm here the end couple of days.
Yes , I've had two of them..and to be precise typical...it's just fitting into it's own situation.plus a little evaporation.enjoy fun... That¡¯s normal my in ground pool requests water every few days.

Maybe check under the filter, in that may be a leak under it. If you hold kids, or if you splash around in it, then hose tends to go out and dry nearby. As far as I know, there's no way pool water is going to unusually evaporate. Hope that helps! We used to have a pool and it did one and the same thing. It's probably just evaporation because then there was for a while leak and it was losing approach more water than that.
Answers:    A simple test is in establish. Set a bucket full of water right next to it. Measure how vigorous it evaporates. At least, you can rule out one possibility.
heres a few tips on leak detection: http://www.swimming-pool-information.com... Lots of kids? Lots of splashing?
could be both. it probably is just evaporating since it's a hot
summer, but generate sure it's not leaking. My pool started leaking by the seam. and it's hard to find a hole in a pool close to that. evaporation is a big reason for water loss. if it is freshly a half an inch a day later its no big problem.
