Need give support to near electric wiring inside th electric panel box.? My old panel have all grounds from the house wires connected...
My old panel have all grounds from the house wires connected to ground plates on respectively side of the box. Similarly, all white wires be going to the each side of plate connected to the podgy white supply wire. So, white & grounds from the house wires be all separate.
The a moment ago installed panel has lone one plate of screws for adjectives grounds from house wires on one side of the box; and, only one plate for adjectives white house wires on the other side of the box (Instead of one plate on each side).
Electrician connected adjectives left-sided ground & white from house wires into the screw plate connected to fat ground lead. (Q: Shouldn¡¯t the white wires go to the plate where on earth fat white supply rope is connected?).
On the right side, he connected all ground & white house wires to the plate connected to the round white supply wire (Q: Isn¡¯t this side of house wires missing ground nouns?)
Q: What are general rules roughly speaking connecting ground & white wires inside the panel? Purpose of white wire?
Answers: White wires are colourless. They go to matching place as the ground. They always move about there. You may attach a white chain on either side surrounded by the fuse box via to a neutral / grounding handrail. All these white wires are connected together in the fuse box as capably as throughout your home. The white wire is secure to touch unless you have your fingers on a black or red chain at the same time. In that satchel you have created an alternate boardwalk for the electricity to flow. You will not forget that if you do. Electricity that should happen to flow through your heart can stop your heart electrical rhythm and if no one is around to re-start your heart... It could be the terminate of your life.
Never attach a white telecommunication to a breaker terminal. It goes against adjectives codes unless you paint the wire black on both ends. Thus presently it's labeled as a black wire.
The colourless wire completes a circuit. That's it's purpose. Electricity works by channel of a closed loop. Turn a switch off and thus the loop is expand and breaking this loop.
The black or red wires commonly carry the power. These wires are other the ones you should switch. Never ever switch a white wire.
I strongly recommend that you bring some assistance from an experienced or at least a seasoned personage who knows and fully understand the basic safekeeping rules of electrical work before you soar in alone.
I'm surprised that in that is not 2 of these grounding bars surrounded by your fuse box. Typically there is one on respectively side. It doesn't really matter though as long as adjectives the white wires and grounds are attached on that bar. It's exceptionally much correct.
I commend you for wanting to learn but to fly a plane you must sit beside an instructor. Same is true with electricity.
White wires are neutrals and showing or green wires are grounds. If this is your main service, not a sub panel, adjectives neutrals and grounds are tied to the same (bar)s. It doesn't issue if they are mixed.. The two Neutral/ground bars should hold a bus bar between them or you own a problem. The bus bar will be at the top or bottom of the two Neutral/ground bar.
