we just bought a house this spring and presently it is getting cold and i need to turn on the furnace - one problem i cant find the pilot standard lamp - can someone help me - it is a moncrief furnace model gh080aa series eb

Answers:    May not enjoy a pilot most newer models don't. I don't know that model but don't go poking around it near or you could break the igniter

find the gas line coming to the furnace, it will finish at a square thing (gas valve) look on spigot and you will see a silver colored tube about the size of a pencil surrounded by diameter, follow it to the pilot.
