I tipped my lawn mower to the front to check underneath. Now it is spitting out smoke and the engine will sputter then shut bad. I know I need to replace the spark plug and air filter but is in attendance anything else I need to do?

Answers:    You just get oil into the combustion chamber and it will take some running to dissipate this. I wouldn't come up with you would have to replace anything. You might want to remove the plug and clean stale any excessive oil on it and crank the engine a few times with the plug removed to backing clean things out. If the air filter get oil on it you would probably have to replace it.
