Need a locksmith proposal...HELP!! My sister have her home broken into and they stole a set of her key, so? a locksmith came out and replaced the locks on one door, but...

a locksmith came out and replaced the locks on one door, but didn't have a lock to fit the front door, so he said he would put superglue within the outside of the lock so the burglar couldn't use the stolen key to get contained by. Now my sister finds that she can't open the (deadbolt) lock from either side and can't obtain the door open. She doesn't remember the company that did the work. I thought we could just unscrew the screw on the inside to take the lock off, but in attendance are NO screws on the inside (key) lock. We tried prying off the circular "frame" of the lock, no dice. And it doesn't appear to screw off either. Any thinking on how to get it off so I can put a bright lock on??
Go to Home Depot, they can tell you how to take the doorknog bad. there are usually two very small plates covering the screw that you cant see. those plates usually just pop off using a small screwdriver. next you will be able to get the screw off.
those screws are other on THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR, or else anyone could just give somebody a lift them off. RIGHT?
take a sturdy look for those two small covers.
good luck to ya

don't take it sour its hinges off, if it is an adjectives in 1 unit unscrew the support plate on the handle and the screws should losing that and from there it pretty much explains its self, just get sure u have 1 to replace it with past u take it off, it would b easier if u could replace it beside a similar lock. take face off-you articulate there are no screws inside-then stroke the deadbolt inwards see if that releases it
Answers:    It sounds like you are going to need a super duty drill and a drill bit that works on metal so you can drill out the super epoxy resin. Are there no screws on the handle on the inside of the door, there should be and there should be 2 screw on the lock part also. One screw will be under the latch that you turn to start on the door. If that doesn't help then you might entail to take the door off it's hinge and hope you can get it out of the frame without breaking the frame at adjectives or you will need to replace the frame and the door.
