My zanussi f/freezer is freezing up at the bottom of the fridge does anyone own an answer to rectify this?
My f/freezer have a drainage channel at the subsidise and some times it gets blocked by a bit of food, I verbs it out and gently smooth out the tiny drain hole with a cotton bud, that seem to do the trick
Freezing items contained by the bottom?
Usually that only manner it is set too cold.
People like to hold their milk on the top shelf where it is handy but they resembling it ice cold close to freezing. So if it is near freezing at the top it will be below freezing on the bottom.
Take your milk stale the top shelf or door and adjust your shelves to put the milk in lower. Then turn up your thermostat one partially number and wait a year. If still too cold in the bottom do it again.
Heat rises and to be precise why they put the thermostats at the top. This is bigger problem with undamaged refrig. units and side by sides. Some side by sides own a return air boiler to prevent this (air that normally is pulled from the refrig cubicle in to the freezer for cooling drifts final. That is below freezing air).
If turning it up slightly doesn't solve it you have a more complicated nouns flow problem that needs to be solved by somebody that know your brand and model real very well.
And this problem shows up more if there are a reduced amount of door opens.
When it runs it stirs up the heavens and the temperature is more even. But you go off for a weekend you will find things in the bottom might enjoy frozen while you were gone.
Answers: turn your fridge down it should be between 0 and 5 degrees
