The washer is a Maytag and it's 7 years old. Other than the roar on the cold cycle, there's nothing wrong. The roar is only within when the water is going into the washer, so I'm not sure if the problem is next to the washer or with the hose line. Any relieve would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Answers:    Mark C has the correct answer..unattach the cold dampen supply hose(turn water stale first)..and inside the fitting where the dampen hose screws into the washer have a screenin it..or inaside the washer connection..It is blocked up beside minerals in the hose..soak in vinegar and verbs..You might check both ends for some washer hoses have a eyeshade built into the hose on both ends..HERE IS A GREAT PICTURE SHOWING A BLOCKED UP SCREEN!

The cold water supply chain is restricted. Check for kinks contained by the hose. Washing machine supply hoses should be changed roughly every five years to prevent bursting. When you take the hoses past its sell-by date, run some water out of the slap into a bucket to make sure the restriction is not on the slap.
