I had a boil pump installed last summer, and surrounded by the summer as an air conditioner it worked great. However, since the weather get cold, it never seems to be coming on. The section itself I mean. It doesn't sort any noise or bequeath any indication that it's running.. I know it's still "working" because it defrosts itself... but when i hold "heat" on, the heat pump is plainly NOT.. I heard that there's a sure temp that the heat pump does not work below, but after i heard that that wasn't true, that instead there's a absolute temp that the heat pump works WITH the emheat, so it's not as though it turns bad when it gets too cold.. Any accepted wisdom?
Answers: Probably your Heat Pump Breaker was tripped and you be doing all of your heat with emergency bake. When you reset your breaker your heat pump begin to work. Keep an eye on the heat pump breaker if it continues to trip you will enjoy to call a serviceman.
not too clear. Is the house cold or cofortable? What is Emheat? Down south we don't use that permanent status.
