My vinyl wall covering is becoming unglued? it is in the kitchen of my elder mobile home over...

it is in the kitchen of my elder mobile home over a smooth finish board - masonite, i think. some of the seam areas are becoming unglued. i tried re-gluing them near heavy duty vinyl glue but it doesn't stick. what can i do to get the vinyl to stick to the wall?
