Answers: Any contact whether it be on the remote or the TV itself can develop a light corrosion problem over time. On the remote or TV (whichever you are have the problem with) press down on the inactive button firmly and roll it around, up and down and side to side for a minute or so. On the remote if the button is functioning you should see a red restrained come on when any button is depressed. If you are not seeing the light (LED) when the power button is pressed and after rolling the button does not correct it lately go win a universal replacement remote at Best Buy or similar. If the nonfunctioning button is on the TV set itself and rolling the button as instructed doesnĄ¯t correct it next itĄ¯s time for a service call near a tech. If it is the remote that is packed up properly it could be something as simple as weak battery as well.
