I replaced the flap valve and the stamp so I don't think these are the culprits. Is here anything I can do to stop the water from draining?

Answers:    If you replaced the flapper and the tank is still leak by into the bowl, then the spaces surface for the flapper is eroded and needs to be replaced or the fasten lift for the flapper is too short. It is also possible to seize bad parts out of the box. You may also want to check the adjustment of your float.
