i was given a Sears/Kenmore Sewing machine. the model number is 158.130. While sewing it make a couple stitches, then stops, and the thread on the bottom is bunched up terribly. What should i do to fix this problem?
Answers: It could be a little problems -- the most likely is that your tension is rotten.or you have a problem with your bobbin skin. But it could be a problem with the type of thread you're using, the needle you're using, the foot you're using, etc... My warning - seek a local independent machine repair party - they should be able to diagnose the problem for about $45 or smaller quantity (depending on where you live). For that cost, they should also be able to preservation and clean your machine.
